Labor has seized on the chance to tout its support for the superannuation system after One Nation floated a plan to let struggling households dip into their retirement savings earlier.

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson reignited the debate surrounding superannuation when she labelled the scheme "broken" on Sunday.
