Tragedy struck at sea off the coast of Naga city in Cebu province, Philippines, as a fishing boat, the F/B King Bryan, was engulfed in flames following an explosion on Wednesday night. The incident resulted in the loss of at least six Filipino crewmembers, with six others fortunate enough to be rescued.
The surviving crewmembers, including the vessel's skipper, are currently undergoing medical treatment, with some too traumatized to provide details on the events leading to the explosion and subsequent fire. One crew member remains in critical condition at a hospital in Cebu.
