A fight broke out at a South Tyneside pub after England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was reportedly mocked for having "T-Rex arms".
The 27-year-old from Sunderland was said to be at Beggar's Bridge pub in East Boldon on Sunday night when a fight erupted between two groups of men.
Northumbria Police is investigating the incident which reportedly left one brawler with a broken nose and another with a smashed phone, the Mirror reports.

That is according to The Sun, which claims Pickford and his family had left the premises by the time officers arrived at the scene.
There is no suggestion that the England No. 1 assaulted anyone, but he is said to have been taunted before his friends intervened and a fight erupted.
The report cites an onlooker who said: "He [Pickford] was getting goaded, like they do. All I heard was 'little arms' and then that's it. It kicked off.
"It happened as soon as they walked in. They hadn't even had time to get a drink. One lad suffered a broken nose.
"Pickford wasn't hurt at all. He was out of the door as soon as it kicked off. Pickford's group left by minibus before the police came."
The witness also claimed someone attempting to film the havoc had their phone smashed by one of those involved in the dust-up.
The incident came one day after the former Sunderland AFC star, who moved to Goodison Park in a £30m transfer in 2017, kept a clean sheet in a 3-0 victory over Leeds.
No arrests have been made but a Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "We received a report of a disturbance at the Beggar's Bridge pub.
"It was reported that a fight broke out between two groups of males inside the premises. An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police."
Pickford has often been mocked by rival fanbases for supposedly having short arms which hamper his shot-stopping ability.
One Newcastle fan turned up to the Magpies' game against Everton last week in a T-Rex costume in reference to the song sang to the Everton goalkeeper.
He has made 184 appearances for the Toffees since his arrival four-and-a-half years ago and established himself as England's first-choice goalkeeper in 2018.
Pickford has earned a total of 42 caps for the Three Lions and shone as they reached the World Cup semi-finals in Russia and the final of Euro 2020 last summer.
This season, he has made 22 appearances in all competitions but has only kept four clean sheets while letting 36 goals in.
