Stewart Anderson says winning a fifth world bowls title is a dream come true, and the last 12 months in the sport have been “perfect” for him.
The 36-year-old won the pairs title with Darren Burnett on Monday, beating English holders Mark Dawes and Jamie Chestney 9-6, 7-11, 2-0 at Potters Resort in Hopton-on-Sea.
That adds to a double singles, pairs and mixed pairs titles already in Anderson’s impressive trophy cabinet.
