Spain cruised past Saudi Arabia, Japan dominated Tunisia, while Germany edged past Côte d'Ivoire to maintain their perfect start to the tournament. Ecuador and Curaçao, meanwhile, played out a goalless draw.
Who won yesterday?
Spain 4-0 Saudi Arabia
Spain produced one of the most convincing performances of the day, thrashing Saudi Arabia 4-0 in Group H. The victory helped Spain move to the top of the group with four points from two matches. Saudi Arabia remain at the bottom with just one point and a goal difference of -4.
Japan 4-0 Tunisia
Japan continued their impressive campaign with a commanding 4-0 win over Tunisia in Group F. The Asian side now sits second in the group on four points, level with leaders Netherlands. Tunisia remain rooted to the bottom without a single point after two matches.
Germany 2-1 Côte d'Ivoire
Germany made it two wins from two matches after defeating Côte d'Ivoire 2-1 in Group E. With six points and a goal difference of +7, Germany have already established themselves as one of the strongest teams in the competition.
Ecuador 0-0 Curaçao
The only draw of the day came in Group E, where Ecuador and Curaçao shared the spoils in a goalless encounter. Both teams earned their first points of the tournament but remain in the bottom half of the standings.
