EA Sports has revealed the FIFA 23 Winter Wildcards Team 1, as the new festive promo officially begins.
The cat has been out of the bag for a few days in regards to the release of the FIFA 23 Winter Wildcards promo, with EA Sports releasing a Winter Wildcards Swaps event recently, ahead of today's FUT promo squad release. This promo follows the World Cup TOTT promo, which ended last week.
The FUT 23 Winter Wildcards Team 1 squad is absolutely stacked, with players like Kevin De Bruyne, N'Golo Kante, Ousmane Dembele, Jadon Sancho and Joao Felix featuring in the team as upgraded player items.
The upgrades don't stop at attributes though, because some of these items also include skill moves upgrades and weak foot upgrades. Check out the FIFA 23 Winter Wildcards Team 1 squad in full below, courtesy of EA Sports.
FIFA 23 Winter Wildcards Team 1 squad revealed
The Winter Wildcards Team 1 will be in FUT 23 packs from Friday, September 23 at 6pm GMT / 1pm ET / 10am PT, until Friday, September 30 at 6pm GMT / 1pm ET / 10am PT. We also expect that there will be various mini-releases over the weekend, with additional, as yet unconfirmed, upgraded Winter Wildcards player items.
Manchester City midfielder De Bruyne headlines the Winter Wildcards Team 1, with the Belgian given an upgraded 93-rated CM player item. FC Barcelona winger Dembele also features as an 87-rated ST player item, whilst the ever-popular Ferland Mendy is also included, with the Frenchman given an 87-rated LB player item.

The Winter Wildcards promo is expected to last two weeks, with two promo teams being released over the coming weeks. The Winter Wildcards Swaps event has already started and will end on Friday, January 6, 2023.
We expect the Winter Wildcards Team 2 squad will be revealed and released into packs on Friday, September 30 at 6pm GMT / 1pm ET / 10am PT, with the promo set to end on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 6pm GMT / 1pm ET / 10am PT.
