FIFA 23 official reveal trailer released
Labelled 'The Worlds Game', the fast-paced, energetic reveal trailer is narrated by ex-Arsenal and England player and FIFA Ultimate Team Icon, Ian Wright. It starts with Wright talking about the last 30 years of EA's FIFA titles dating back all the way to FIFA 92 - a little homage to their 30-year partnership with FIFA coming to an end after FIFA 23.
After an introduction, the trailer goes into minimal detail about EA's HyperMotion technology, a feature used to improve the overall feel and look of the next-gen gameplay. But, FIFA 23 will now be using HyperMotion 2, a new, updated version.
The trailer also teases the introduction of crossplay in FIFA 23, which will be arriving in all 1v1 game modes. Crossplay allows players from different consoles to play against each other and was trialled in Online Seasons and Online Friendlies in FIFA 22.
After the introduction of the new HyperMotion 2 and crossplay coming to FIFA 23, the trailer then briefly teases the FIFA World Cups in FIFA 23, not just the men's in Qatar this winter, but also the Women's World Cup in Australia.
The addition of the Women's World Cup helps push FIFA 23 to be their most inclusive game to date, with Women's club leagues also being added into the game, including the Women's Super League (WSL).
FIFA 23 will be officially released on Friday, September 30, 2022, but If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23, you will be able to start playing from Tuesday, September 27, 2022 due to the early access bonus you get for pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition.
