FIFA 23 players who have opened a World Cup Icon Player Pick will receive compensation, EA Sports has confirmed.
As part of the ongoing World Cup -themed promos for FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, EA unveiled a collection of World Cup Icons in FUT 23, celebrating the biggest moments in players' careers on the international stage. As well as being released into FUT Packs, and also becoming available to unlock by completing Squad Building Challenges, the World Cup Icons were released as part of the World Cup Swaps event.
In exchange for 35 tokens, FUT players could redeem a World Cup Player Pick, giving players the option of three World Cup Icons to choose from. But, it appears that players who redeemed the Player Pick after Friday, December 2 at 6pm GMT did not include all of the available World Cup Icons, with EA Sports confirming they will hand out compensation to the impacted players.
