The Ligue 1 TOTS squad will be released in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team this week, but there's no public vote to decide which players are included.
Since the Team of the Season (TOTS) promo began in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, a major league TOTS squad has been released each Friday, with players able to select the XI they think should feature for each league in a public vote. So far, we've seen this for TOTS squads like the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A, but EA has opted not to include one for Ligue 1.
Most likely a way to ensure some players who may not be deserving of a spot in TOTS are included, the Ligue 1 TOTS squad is anticipated to be one of the best released in FIFA 23, with a host of big names having impressed during the 2022/23 season. Paris Saint-Germain leads the title race with Lens and Marseille just behind, whilst stars from Lille, Lyon and Rennes have also impressed in France this season.
Here's when we expect the FIFA 23 Ligue 1 TOTS squad to be released, and who could be included.
FIFA 23 Ligue 1 TOTS release date
With the La Liga TOTS released in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team last Friday, May 19, we expect the La Liga TOTS squad to replace it and be revealed and released into packs on Friday, May 26 at 6pm BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT. We expect the Ligue 1 TOTS player items to be available in FUT packs from release up until 5.59pm BST / 12.59pm EDT / 9.59am PDT on Friday, June 2.
FIFA 23 Ligue 1 TOTS predictions
With no public vote, we suspect that some players who may not have had incredible seasons may be included. This means we may see a PSG-heavy TOTS squad, including the likes of Neymar, despite plenty of attackers having had better seasons than the Brazilian.
