EA Sports is expected to release the FUT Web App and FUT Companion App before the release of FIFA 23.
The FIFA 23 FUT Web App and the FUT Companion App will give players access the FUT 23 Transfer Market before the launch of the full game, allowing players to buy and sell players, consumables and build out their squads. Players can also use the FUT Web App and the FUT Companion App to manage their FUT 23 squad, buy packs, complete SBCs and much more.
The FUT Companion App can be downloaded for free on a mobile device via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, with the FUT Web App simply a web browser version of the app that can be accessed on PC, Mac and mobile devices.
FIFA 23 will be released on Friday, September 30, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One. But players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 will be given early access to the game, allowing players access to the game on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
With these dates confirmed, we expect that the FIFA 23 FUT Web App will be released on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 and the FIFA 23 FUT Companion App will be released on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
These dates are a calculated guess based on last year's release schedule. Prior to the launch of FIFA 22 last year, which was released on Friday, October 1, 2021, the FIFA 22 FUT Web App launched on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Meanwhile, the FUT Companion App launched on Thursday, September 23, 2021.
FIFA 23 will be the final EA Sports FIFA title, signalling the end of a 30-year partnership between EA and FIFA, following the decision of both companies to release their own football simulation games. EA has confirmed that their new game, EA Sports FC, will be released next year.
EA Sports has confirmed a number of new features for FIFA 23 including improvements to major modes including gameplay and career mode, the inclusion of women's football domestic leagues, cross-play integration, a FUT 23 chemistry revamp, FIFA World Cup integration, Pro Clubs and Volta Football linked progression and much more.
FIFA 23 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30. Early access for FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition begins on September 27, 2022.
