A brand-new promo looks set to be released in FIFA 23 tomorrow, with EA Sports confirming the FUT Ballers promo is coming to Ultimate Team.
Leaks on social media suggested the next promo coming to FIFA 23 was the FUT Birthday promo, but those theories were debunked by EA Sports yesterday, with a FUT loading screen confirming a brand-new promo will be released instead, named FUT Ballers. But at the time of writing, we know little to no details about what theme the promo could be based around.
With 'Ballers' in the name, we think it could potentially award some of the most skilful players with upgraded player items, and with how popular five-star skill players are in the FUT community, we expect the promo could be well received! And, ahead of tomorrow's release, some information regarding the promo as well as players included have been 'leaked' online.

FIFA 23 FUT Ballers confirmed release date
After the Fantasy FUT Team 2 squad left FUT Packs yesterday, EA has confirmed the upcoming release of the FUT Ballers promo in a FUT loading screen. The image contained the FUT Ballers card design with a countdown timer on the bottom, which confirmed that the FUT Ballers promo will begin in Ultimate Team on Friday, March 17 at 6pm GMT/ 2pm ET/ 11am PT.
Following this, we still expect the FUT Birthday promo to begin on Friday, March 24 at 6pm GMT/ 2pm ET/ 11am PT, meaning that the FUT Ballers promo could exit FUT on Friday, March 24 at 5.59pm GMT/ 1.59pm ET/ 10.59am PT.
FIFA 23 FUT Ballers leaks
According to reliable leaker @FutSheriff, via @fifa_romania, the FUT Ballers promo could be unlike any promo we've seen before, with all the players reportedly set to be absent from FUT Packs, and only available as SBCs and Objectives. The leaker also suggests that FUT Ballers could be similar to FIFA 22's Adidas Numbers Up promo where one face stat could increase to 99 out of 99.
During the promo, there will be daily SBCs and Objectives, with each being key to unlocking higher versions of the player. Summarised by the leaker, you basically complete the player SBC and then have opportunities to upgrade the player by completing the Play to Style Objectives.
@FutSheriff also reports that every player that completes the Play to Style Objective will unlock a FUT Birthday Team 1 Pack, by March 24. Since FUT Ballers was confirmed by EA, a handful of players have been leaked to feature in the promo.
