FIFA 22 TOTY Honourable Mentions predictions and leaks with Liverpool and Chelsea stars

The FIFA 22 TOTY Final XI is out now, with these upgraded player items rolling into packs this week.

EA Sports revealed the FIFA 22 TOTY Final XI on Thursday, January 20, 2022, featuring Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Jorginho, Kevin De Bruyne and N'Golo Kante. At time of writing, the TOTY attackers and TOTY midfielders have gone into packs so far, with the TOTY defenders and goalkeeper stats yet to be revealed or put into packs.

And on Wednesday, January 24, 2022, EA Sports confirmed the three FIFA 22 TOTY 12th man nominees, with Mohamed Salah, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema up for a 12th man vote, with players able to vote on FUT 22 or on the FUT mobile app or FUT web app.

But in addition to these releases, EA Sports has also confirmed that FIFA 22 TOTY Honourable Mentions items will be released into packs as part of the FIFA 22 TOTY promo, and it looks like these items will be chosen by EA Sports themselves.

This also happened during the FIFA 21 TOTY promo, with players like Jesus Navas, Sadio Mane, Andrew Robertson, Jack Grealish (Objective) and Nabil Fekir FUT Honourable Mentions items being released into packs, which were heavily upgraded.

FIFA 22 TOTY Honourable Mentions predictions

So, which players will feature in the FIFA 22 TOTY Honourable Mentions release? Here are Mirror Football's predictions.

  • ST: Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund)
  • ST: Dusan Vlahovic (Fiorentina)
  • CAM: Phil Foden (Man City)
  • CAM: Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich)
  • RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold ( Liverpool )
  • CB: Antonio Rudiger ( Chelsea )
  • CB: Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus)

In FIFA 21 Ultimate Team last year, six FUT Honourable Mentions items were released into packs, with one other released as an objective.

Strikers Haaland and Vlahovic both had incredible years in 2021, whilst midfielder's Foden and Muller both led their clubs to league titles. Alexander-Arnold is arguably the best right-back in the world, with Rudiger winning the Champions League with Chelsea and Bonucci winning Euro 2020 with Italy.

FIFA 22 TOTY Honourable Mentions leaks

As for FIFA 22 TOTY Honourable Mentions leaks, the reliable @FutSheriff on Twitter claims that there will be 15 FUT TOTY Honourable Mention players in packs, with these items set to go into packs from Friday, January 28, 2022 at 18:00 PM GMT until Friday, February 4, 2022 at 18:00 PM GMT.

Of course, as with all leaked content, it's not possible to confirm this information, but these social media accounts have been very reliable in the past, not just for TOTY, but for the majority of FUT 22 promos this year.

Which players would you like to see released into packs as a FIFA 22 TOTY Honourable Mentions item? Here are the 80 TOTY nominees to choose from, minus those who have already featured in the TOTY promo so far.
