The Royal Albert Dock will be lit up this month as it welcomes the brand-new Fiesta of Fire event.
Taking place across three weekends from February 4 to February 19, Fiesta of Fire will include a packed line-up of free, family-friendly entertainment and breath-taking fire acts, performances and spectacular displays of fire and light. The event will commence with a weekend of fire-themed activities from Bring the Fire project on February 4 and 5 from 3pm to 6pm.
The dock will be the venue for a series of captivating choreographed fire acts, including flaming sword fights, martial arts-style rope darts and a fire umbrella. On Saturday 4, visitors can also marvel at a three metre high fire-breathing dragon.

The dragon will be roaming around the dock by the Martin Luther King Jr. building and along Hartley Quay as it illuminates the skies with flames. On February 11 and 12, a variety of mesmerising fire performances and acts will entertain audiences - ideal for an early Valentine's Day celebration.
During the half term, families can catch performances from a series of walkabout fire acts on February 16. The performers will include fire jugglers and fire breathers.
The Fiesta of Fire celebrations will conclude with a spectacular array of fire performances, which will take place around the dock estate from 3pm to 6pm on February 18. Visitors will be able to enjoy a mixture of acts including multi-flame dragon staffs, fire hoops and special effect flames and pyrotechnics. To view the full Fiesta of Fire timetable, click here.
