Jai Field has been short-listed among the three contenders to become the 2025 Man of Steel, with the prospect of Wigan's flying fullback joining the illustrious Australian exports who've won British rugby league's top individual honour.
Field has been named alongside English luminaries Mikey Lewis and Jake Connor for the accolade of Super League's top player of the season.
The 27 year old, who had spells with St George Illawarra and Parramatta in the NRL before becoming a sensation in Super League over the past four seasons for his electric running at Wigan, is hoping to become the 10th Australian to win the award since it was introduced in 1977.
