A 1967 Ferrari 330 GTS had spent 44 years in a Pennsylvania garage after an engine fire before it was offered at auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Gooding & Company sold the car in January 2014; the winning bid reached $1.875 million, and the final price was $2,062,500 with the buyer's premium. The car had not been restored and still carried the scars of decades of storage, including damage from the fire that had taken it off the road in the first place.
