Christmas has arrived at Fenwick in Newcastle as its range of festive hampers and this year's food advent calendar go on sale with treats including a wide mix of local goodies.
The city store says its seasonal treats, which are available both in-store and online from this Thursday, offer plenty variations on the usual chocolate-heavy theme with its advent calendar featuring the likes of "artisinal" drinks - which include sloe gin and honey whisky - plus cheese and coffee behind its 25 'doors'. The sweet-toothed will be glad to know that chocolate is there too, from luxury brands including Charbonnel et Walker.
And among the 16 Fenwick hampers on offer is a £130 Northern Delights version which includes produce solely from the North East. Hamper prices start at £50 for a vegan-theme hamper to a whopping £750 for the Showstopper. The 2022 Food Advent Calendar costs £145.
