Nottingham Forest defender Renan Lodi is loving life on international duty, if a video he has shared on social media is anything to go.
Reds loan star Lodi is with Brazil for the friendly away to Morocco in Tangier on Saturday night. The match marks the start of a new era for the Selecao, who suffered a disappointing World Cup campaign, crashing out in the quarter-finals to Croatia having gone into the tournament as favourites.
Following the exit, manager Tite stepped down after six years at the helm. His permanent successor is still to be appointed, with Ramon Menezes in charge on an interim basis. Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti are among the favourites to get the job on a permanent basis.

For now, focus is on Morocco and Lodi is in high spirits, sharing a video of him in training ahead the game. Featuring a clip of him whipping in pinpoint crosses, the 24-year-old wrote: “So happy to be part of this new moment!”
Countryman and Forest teammate Felipe ‘liked’ the post and replied: “Little foot in shape [flames and clapping emoji].”
Menezes sprung some surprises when he announced his squad for the game, leaving out Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli and Liverpool keeper Alisson. The latter omission is with a view to giving other keepers a chance to impress. PSG’s Neymar is missing through injury.
