A West Belfast community has kicked off their Féile an Phobail celebrations with a unique competition. On Friday, the Springhill Community Funday, organised by Springhill Community House and Springhill residents, saw six men battle it out in a 'Wheelie Bin Race'.
Springhill was the original location for Féile an Phobail concerts in the 1990s and has a vibrant community structure that got together to create a fun day out for residents ahead of the festival starting on August 4.
An aerial video of the race has already been watched by over 100,000 people on social media with the day events being attended by over 3000 people from the community.
