Supercars star Broc Feeney is eyeing a return to the top of the podium after setting the quickest laps in the opening practice sessions in Tasmania.

Left smarting after a frustrating weekend in New Zealand, the Triple Eight young gun first set the pace with a lap of 51.311 seconds in Friday's opening session at Launceston's Symmons Plains Raceway.
