Federation of Indian Airlines seeks Centre's intervention for faster release of ECLGS 5.0 funds

Airlines have sought the Civil Aviation Ministry's urgent intervention to get banks to release the balance credit sanctioned under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) 5.0, starting with the first tranche.

The Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA), which represents Air India, IndiGo and SpiceJet, has written to Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu seeking expeditious disbursement of credit support to eligible member airlines.
