We're into the last week of the campaign, as politicians hightail it across the country making their final pitches.
If you missed anything in the second-last week of the political flurry, this series of pictures will help to bring you up to speed.
Mothers and markets to start the week
Prime Minister Scott Morrison marked Mother's Day by making an IVF announcement, joined by his mum Marion, wife Jenny and their daughters Abbey and Lily.
Opposition leader Anthony Albanese headed to a market in Ryde.
He also paid tribute to his mum, who suffered a fatal brain aneurysm on Mother's Day in 2002.
Schools and Seahawks dominated Monday
Early voting opened on Monday, with more than 280,000 Australians casting their ballots on the first day of pre-polling.
Mr Morrison was talking defence helicopters — specifically, a plan to get more of them.
Mr Albanese headed back to school — St Mary's Cathedral School in Sydney, where he was once a pupil — to unveil Labor's plan to entice high achieving students into teaching careers.
Bridge plans for Bennelong
The PM cast his eye over plans for a bridge upgrade in Bennelong on Tuesday, alongside New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet.
Mr Morrison's day was later dominated by questions about his hand-picked candidate in Warringah, after she reiterated divisive comments she had previously apologised for.
A wages twist
Anthony Albanese caused a stir by backing in an increase to the minimum wage of at least 5.1 percent, and leaned in to the politicians-holding-babies campaign style.
Wednesday saw more debate on wages
Debate over Mr Albanese's wage rise comments from Tuesday continued into a second day, with the Prime Minister launching criticism at his opponent, before finding time for a chuckle with member for Robertson Lucy Wicks.
And, more rain
After getting some inspiration from his surroundings, the Opposition Leader talked up Labor's plan to make child care cheaper — cupcakes not included.
A continental divide
On Thursday, the Prime Minister announced some mental health funding in Tasmania before getting in some exercise.
The Labor campaign hit up an oil refinery at the opposite end of the country, in central Queensland, which focuses on reuse for advanced manufacturing.
Happy Birthday to you
The Prime Minister celebrated another lap around the sun on Friday, turning 54 on the campaign trail.
The Albo-bus became an Alboat
Labor's campaign went tropical to talk about the Great Barrier Reef.
A sporty Saturday for the Coalition
The Prime Minister kept his eye on the ball as the campaign entered its final week.
A hydration break for the Labor leader
Still in steamy northern Australia, Anthony Albanese topped up on the good stuff while catching up with the Northern Territory's new chief minister Natasha Fyles to round out the week.
