The Food and Drug Administration on Monday posted a recall notice for one lot of BetterGoods Pistachio Nut Butter, a Walmart-exclusive spread distributed to stores in 19 states, after state inspectors found Salmonella in three jars pulled from a retail shelf.
Boticelli Foods of Melville, New York, initiated the voluntary recall. According to the FDA recall notice, the company acted after Walmart learned on July 17, 2026, that the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services had tested three jars of the product during a routine inspection at a Walmart store and identified Salmonella.
