FBoy Island’s Nicole Mitrov And Jack Johnston Give A Juicy Relationship Update After The Season Two Finale

This article contains FBoy Island spoilers!!!!!!

It’s been a juicy, juicy season of FBoy Island. We’ve had lies, tears, dramatic exits and of course, plenty of fuck boy behaviour. And, thankfully, the season finale was no exception.

But before we get into what went down let me be very clear, this article contains massive spoilers. Please go read about Moo Deng or something instead if you haven’t seen the finale episode of season two.

In the finale episode, our trio of beautiful ladies had to make a difficult decision between two final men. Nicole Mitrov was choosing between Nathan A Giastis— who had revealed himself as a gay FBoy but was staying in the competition as her sneaky insider source with the boys — or consistently shirtless Jack Johnston.

Krystal Thomas was struggling to pick between former The Bachelorette star Paddy Collier and sweet pea electrician Doug Roocke. And finally, Ally Woodfall‘s final two consisted of Andrew Tate enthusiast Joe Blanch and thoughtful stripper Chad Homan.

After some nail-biting moments and shock twists, Krystal picked Paddy, Ally chose Joe and Nicole chose Jack. And — get this — they were all nice guys!!!!

But although Nicole got her boo, the finale wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. She was confronted with a pretty intense situation when eliminated Nice Guy Sean Henry decided to put it all out on the line and shoot his shot with her.

“That was an overwhelming moment,” Nicole tells PEDESTRIAN.TV.

“I just couldn’t speak. I didn’t expect it.”

After politely turning Sean down, Nicole said it was a no-brainer to risk it all for Jack, rather than choosing Nathan who had promised to split the cashola with her.

“Unless Jack did anything outrageously FBoy at the finale or slipped, I always knew I wanted Jack in my top and was going to pick him,” she said, as a beaming Jack sat beside her.

“Having Nathan there was a bit of fun. We became such good friends while filming and he was a breath of fresh air. When I needed a break from all the drama, I’d pull Nathan over and we’d gas bag and pretend to kiss behind a pillow.”

Now that everything is out in the open, Nicole and Jack are over the moon to finally be able to take their love public.

“It’s been a whirlwind,” Nicole exclaims.

“Honestly, we reflect all the time. Like ‘Oh my god. Can you believe it’s been six months?’ I think to have finally been out of the bubble and to be able to walk around in public, celebrate and have a wine. It’s quite surreal and we’re just going to soak it all up.”

For the last six months, Geelong-based Nicole and Gold Coast-based Jack have kept their relationship under wraps whilst dating long-distance. Of course, that came with challenges.

“It was really hard but I think the distance created another element of connection and it was effortless,” Jack says.

“It’s always been that way with Nicole and I but when you’ve got the weight of the show and the privacy of the relationship, it can be a heavy burden to carry.”

Although they admit dating at a distance could be tricky, the cute couple looked at it as an opportunity to get to know each other without any prying eyes.

“We just saw the positives to it,” Nicole adds.

“We just thought, ‘Alright, we’re in our little bubble, we can love each other and build the relationship throughout these months’. The period between when filming ended and before the show aired was when we really got to know each other when things weren’t as red hot. But we still managed to sneak in monthly visits, which was amazing.”

In case you were wondering, the shirtless thing wasn’t a ploy by producers. Jack says he just wanted to get a tan. On behalf of the girls, the gays and the theys, we say thank you, relatable king. (Image: FBoy Island / Instagram)

Now that the show is over, the love birds are excited for what’s next.

“We’re excited to live life and start our life,” Jack explains.

“There’s the show and then there’s the reality of our lives. We’re ready to build a future and start our lives together. We’re going to take a holiday, fall more in love. I’m excited to share Nicole with my family and vice versa.

“It’s such a special moment because I can’t really see a life without Nicole in it now. To start that and build that is a really exciting chapter.”

After falling head over heels for each other on the show, Nicole and Jack admit that their experience on reality television was pretty amazing. So much so that they’d be down to give another one a shot… as long as it’s not a dating show.

“It was one of the most life-changing experiences, clearly, and incredibly exciting so we absolutely would,” Jack says.

As for which show? They both reckon they’d crumble emotionally on The Block, and would be better suited to something like The Amazing Race Australia.

“I would be crying every episode on the floor if we went on The Block,” Nicole laughs.

“The thing about Jack and I is that we’re so alike that we would just crumble because we’re both indecisive. So trying to buy furniture would be absolute chaos.”

“We can’t even decide on dinner,” Jack chimes in.

“I think something like something like The Amazing Race or Survivor. He would be so good on Survivor because he’s just got no fear,” says Nicole.
