Houston, TX - A tragic incident unfolded on Sunday afternoon at Lakewood Church, one of the largest congregations not only in Houston but also in the entire United States. The FBI's Houston field office, along with the Houston Police Department (HPD), has been diligently working to investigate the shooting that occurred during a service.
Special Agent-in-Charge of the FBI's Houston field office, Doug Williams, expressed gratitude for the swift response of two officers who were working security at the church when the shooting took place. Their heroic actions undoubtedly prevented further loss of life, as they engaged the shooter promptly and effectively.
