Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has taken possession of a cache of rare cultural treasures that authorities say were illegally smuggled to the United States before being recovered and returned with the FBI's help.
The artifacts, linked to the Dani and Asmat tribes and the Lake Sentani communities of Indonesia's Papua region, were formally handed over during a meeting Wednesday between Subianto and FBI Director Kash Patel at the president's residence in Jakarta.
