No more than a week ago, Overtflow and Faze Temperrr were without fights on tonight's Misfits Boxing card, but the two friends will turn enemies for a late-notice battle this evening.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Overtflow, whose real name is Patrick Brittain, has been training in a gi in Las Vegas for years, but swaps the mats for the ring in his second ever boxing outing when he faces Faze Clan leader Thomas Oliveira. The Brazilian is 1-1 this year in boxing, taking a retroactive decision win over King Kenny in his first fight, before being stopped by Slim Albaher in August.
And Oliveira is keen to get back to winning ways and prove that the Albaher fight was no more than a blip in his fighting career as he steps into the ring for the third time in a year. He and Brittain both have considerable martial arts backgrounds, but that doesn't mean as much when they put on 10oz gloves for their professional boxing debuts.
