FaZe Sensei explains how MMA background will help in King Kenny fight

FaZe Sensei believes his background in MMA will give him an advantage over King Kenny in his second boxing fight.

Sensei - real name Isiah Ocasio will take to the ring for the second time in his career when he takes on King Kenny - real name Kenny Ojuederie - at London's O2 arena on Saturday night. It will be Ojuederie's second time in the ring having been handed split decision victory over Ocasio's friend FaZe Temperrr, which was later overturned and awarded to the American star.

He will be seeking redemption in the second fight against a fellow member of YouTube content creator group FaZe Clan. Sensei has previously competed in martial-arts and has also sparred with fellow YouTuber KSI who headlines the card against Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda.

He believes his extensive fighting background will continue to provide a great platform for his YouTube boxing career having won his first fight. "Yeah definitely for sure fighting in MMA and kickboxing against a number of high-level guys will help," he revealed when talking to Mirror Fighting at yesterday's open workout.

"I have been hit with a lot of stuff kicks knees and I have been dealing with that different adversity and it is still fighting. It is obviously boxing but it is still fighting and that is what I am excited for. It feels surreal being here again and as a fan it is crazy and I am super grateful for the opportunity to do this."

Ocasio's first win as a fighter has already come on the undercard of KSI's initial meeting with Logan Paul back in 2018 where he defeated Overflow in sensational fashion. His prior experience will see him want to continue the FaZe Clan's positive record against Ojuederie, who has now had it classified as a defeat when he fought clan member FaZe Temperrr on the undercard of Deji's defeat to Alex Wassabi.

Despite suffering defeat in his first fight, Ojuederie has vowed to go to war with Ocasio and believes that a big knockout is inevitable in their YouTube boxing war. "How do I get it done? Fighting and winning we are going to war," Olujuederie said ahead of the fight at today's press conference. "A knockout could happen in any round. This is boxing. We are in 100z gloves and this is going to be a war."
