Fawn's Masked Singer identity 'sealed' by date clue as she makes final with panel still clueless

Fawn has gone into The Masked Singer final with the panel still completely clueless on her identity, as a massive giveaway clue on Saturday night's show flew straight over their heads.

Fawn has been very impressive during her stint on the ITV show, covering tracks like Sigma and Paloma Faith's Changing and Disney classic Beauty and the Beast. The latter was the first song she performed back in week one and there were a few clues given in Fawn's opening VT that immediately had some viewers convinced she was a member of All Saints. There was an appearance of 'black coffee' - the name of one of their number 1 singles and Sandy - the group's single Pure Shores was in the soundtrack to The Beach.

The word 'wonderland' was mentioned in Fawn's first riddle, which All Saints fans recognised for being the name of the tour the girls' supported Take That on in 2017. And then the deal was sealed on Fawn being Natalie Appleton, due to her vocals and a clue about Down Under, with her having been a contestant on I'm A Celebrity.

Those clues were completely missed by the panel as was one about November 1 on Saturday's Masked Singer semi final, which just so happens to be All Saints Day.

Fawn performed twice on Saturday's Masked Singer in a bid to make it through to the final - Tomorrow from Annie and Dua Lipa's Be The One and, as Richie Sambora bowed out as Jacket Potato and Jellyfish was kicked out and revealed to be Amber Riley, Fawn earned a place in the top three, alongside Rhino and Phoenix.

Going for Natalie as Fawn, one viewer tweeted: "FAWN - defo Natalie Appleton!! 1st November is AllSaints Day!!!! Deckchair etc - pure shores from "The Beach"" Echoing that, after a clue about Rankin, another reacted: "Rankin directed the video for ‘This Is A War’ by All Saints, Fawn is 100% Natalie Appleton"
