The father of murdered tot Santina Cawley says if her killer ever crossed his path again “there could be war on the street”.
Santina, two, was brutally murdered by her father Michael’s then partner Karen Harrington at her Cork apartment in 2019.
Marking the fourth anniversary of Santina’s tragic death, Michael says he’s bracing for Harrington’s pending appeal of her murder conviction and the possibility that she could be released.

“If the State lets her out of that jail and she crosses my path again, I fear what could happen to be honest with you.
“She put my beautiful daughter into a grave and to think she could walk the streets again, I couldn’t live like that.
“This is not a world for me and her. I don’t look at her as a woman. She is the devil.
“I fear if she got out and she crossed my path, there could be war on the street.”
