Tragedy struck the city of San Antonio as a young pregnant woman and her boyfriend lost their lives in a devastating incident stemming from a narcotics deal gone awry. Authorities have charged a father and son duo in connection with the deaths, shedding light on the dark underbelly of the drug trade.
The accused, 19-year-old Christopher Preciado, has been arrested on suspicion of capital murder, while his father, Ramon, is facing charges of abuse of a corpse for allegedly aiding his son in disposing of the bodies. The victims have been identified as Savannah Soto, a nine-month pregnant teenager, and her boyfriend, Matthew Guerrero. Both victims were discovered lifeless inside a car, each suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
