Fate: The Winx Saga - Big Netflix show about fighting fairies was shot in Ireland

Netflix hit Fate: The Winx Saga has captivated viewers for two seasons with the second season hitting the platform last month.

The show, which is a live-action adaptation of Nickelodeon's animated 2004 series Winx Club, is set in the Otherworld with many aspects of that realm filmed in Ireland last year.

The Netflix drama follows Fire Fairy Bloom (played by Abigail Cowen) as she adjusts to life in the Otherworld where she must get to grips with her own magical powers as well as face the evil Burned Ones.
