Meanwhile, in the town of Zakopane at the base of the Tatra Mountains, another woman met a tragic end when a tree fell on her car. The local firefighters in Zakopane confirmed the unfortunate incident. Additionally, a child in the same town lost their life due to a falling tree, as reported by medical responders.
Authorities have issued a warning about the dangerous winds, which have been recorded at speeds of at least 62 mph. In response to the hazardous conditions, mountain tracks in Tatra National Park have been closed to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.
