Tragedy struck at the Consulate General of Honduras near Atlanta on Monday afternoon when a suspect opened fire in the parking lot, resulting in one fatality and another individual sustaining injuries. The incident, which occurred around 2:30 p.m., prompted a swift response from the Doraville Police Department in Georgia.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered one individual who had tragically succumbed to an apparent gunshot wound. Another person was found injured and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
