Two people have died in two separate crashes in as many days on South Australian roads, adding to the state's horror road toll.
A 51-year-old Glenelg woman died following a two-car crash at Hackham, in Adelaide's south, in the early hours of Saturday morning, while a 59-year-old man from the Barossa died in a motorcycle crash on Friday evening.
Five others were also injured in the Hackham crash, which occurred on Main South Road near Melsetter road.
Police said they were called to the scene just after 12:30am after reports a Mitsubishi sedan and a Hyundai SUV had crashed.
The driver of the Mitsubishi and his passenger, both 17-year-old boys from Morphett Vale, were taken to the Flinders Medical Centre with serious injuries.
The 51-year-old Glenelg woman, who was a passenger in the SUV, died at the scene.
The SUV's driver, a 35-year-old Aldinga Beach woman, and two other passengers, a 28-year-old Onkaparinga Hills woman and a 30-year-old Morphett Vale man, were taken to Flinders Medical Centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the crash, as well as the separate motorcycle crash in the Barossa.
In that incident, police and emergency crews were called to the intersection at Vine Vale, near Tanunda, just after 5:30pm on Friday after reports a motorcycle left the road and crashed into a tree.
The rider, a 59-year-old man from the Barossa, died at the scene.
There have now been 34 lives lost on South Australian roads this year, compared to 16 at the same time last year.
