A mother of a little girl has revealed how she had to fight off an American Bulldog which was mauling her four-year-old in a vicious attack.
Amy Hobson pulled little Luna-Ann Forsyth from the dog's hold as it pinned her to the ground at a friend's house.
Luna was then rushed to hospital by taxi after emergency services said an ambulance wasn't available for a number of hours.

Luna received emergency plastic surgery and 40 stitches on her face, leaving her permanently scarred following the vicious attack.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Amy has since cut ties from the friend who hid their dog from authorities following the attack in a bid to avoid it being destroyed by police.
Amy posted photos to highlight the severity of the attack.
She arrived back with her friend, her daughter and her brother at a house in Warwickshire, around 3pm on the day.
After her daughter called the dog by its name, "He got hold of her face and got her to the ground."
"I was kicking and punching the dog to get him off her and I got my little girl off the floor, and called 999 straight away.
"There was loads of blood. Luna was calm and brave, it was me that was panicking and crying," Amy said.
Amy and Luna live on the same street as their now former friend's house where the attack took place.
Luna-Ann was able to go home on Saturday evening. "Even after everything, she is still smiling," her mother revealed.
Medical professionals said the cuts will take around a year in total to heal.
Police informed that an investigation has begun, after the dog was taken and later destroyed.
A police spokesperson said: "We’re investigating an incident in which a child was bitten by a dog in the Camp Hill area of Nuneaton on Thursday evening 6 April)
"The incident took place inside a property. The child sustained facial injuries, which required hospital treatment.
"The dog has been seized and destroyed. Enquiries are ongoing."
