I practically live in denim year-round: in the summer, it’s whimsical blouses and white finishes or bermuda shorts, while winter calls for straight or wide-leg cuts with knits and shirts. But while effortless to style, it’s less easy to find the perfect fit.
Enter With Nothing Underneath, which has now debuted denim jeans. The final component of any capsule wardrobe, it’s a natural evolution for the British brand that’s already synonymous with crisp white shirts and essential tailoring.
There are three cuts and three washes available, all inspired by denim golden girls Stevie Nicks, Farrah Fawcett and Cindy Crawford.
The Stevie (£150, Withnothingunderneath.com) is cropped and relaxed, the Crawford (£150, Withnothingunderneath.com) is more fitted and smart, and the Fawcett (£150, Withnothingunderneath.com) is wide-leg and laidback.

With Nothing Underneath Crawford jeans
My favourite pair from the collection, With Nothing Underneath’s Crawford jeans are everything you want in denim. Flattering thanks to the straight cut and high waistline, the silhouette is smart enough to dress up with shirts and heels, but comfortable for weekend attire.
Made from 100 per cent organic cotton, the jeans have just the right amount of give around the waist, without compromising on structure. Available in a vintage light wash or indigo, I’d size up one for extra versatility when styling.
When it comes to length, all the jeans are available with an inseam of 32in – I’m 6ft, and the Crawford jeans were the perfect ankle-skimming length. If you’re also tall but prefer your hems to sweep the floor, the jeans might not be for you.
With Nothing Underneath Fawcett jeans
White jeans can prop up your wardrobe all year round, whether styled with baby tees in the summer and oversized knits in the winter. WNO’s seventies-inspired Fawcett jeans come in both mid-blue and perenially chic off-white. Distinguished by their high waist and wide cut, the legs flare out as they near the floor.
The high waistline is perfect for pairing with tucked-in shirts or cinched-in blazers, boasting the same comfortable and forgiving fit as the Crawford.
Tall girls might find themselves less able to get away with the ankle-skimming length of this style, but more petite women will look effortlessly chic with the floor-hitting hem. Again, size up if you’re between sizes – but stick to your usual if not, as they’ll wear in nicely.
