Fashion designer Vera Wang's real age stuns people as she celebrates her birthday

Fashion designer Vera Wang has stunned people after revealing how old she really is. The style icon recently celebrated her birthday with an extravagant pink cake and a princess-inspired outfit.

The designer could also be celebrating with her new bottles of rose - and they might be THE most fabulous bottles of fizz you've ever seen. Seriously, they're amazing.

Vera hosted a pink-themed karaoke to celebrate her 73rd birthday. This is despite her looking like she's still in her 20s.

Vera looked like a party girl many years her junior, as she wore a shimmery pink two-piece featuring a floor-length skirt with a middle slit revealing a pair of matching shorts beneath. Fans were left envious of her incredible figure.

Vera wore pink highlights in her hair and a tiara which was adorned with pink crystals. She paired this with multiple pink rings and silver heels.

She also shared pictures of her multi-tiered silver cake, decorated with pink roses and black block letters of Wang's initials. Vera enjoyed performing on karaoke and sang a rendition of Stevie Wonder's Signed, Sealed, Delivered with friends.

She captioned her birthday snaps: "Celebrating my Bday with CAKES and KARAOKE…… and my new ROSÉ PROSECCO!!!!!! #VeraWangParty." Fans flocked to the comments section to wish the wedding dress designer a happy birthday and many asked how she looks so young.

One fan wrote: "Happy bday, you always look so amazing and young." Another said: "You are flawless! Happiest of birthdays!"

A third commented: "Happy birthday gosh share your secret please you look like your 30," while another fan said: "Blimey Vera you’re amazing."

Vera was recently honoured by Mattel who created their own Vera Wang Barbie doll as part of the brand's Tribute Series, which they launched last year, says the Mirror. Vera said she was "overwhelmed" when she was first approached about the collaboration.

"While it has been an honour for me to have created so many looks for Barbie through the years, from wedding to red carpet, a Barbie in my own likeness is something I never could have imagined," she told PEOPLE magazine.
