Polarising Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) 2026 contestant Logan Firth has responded to criticisms surrounding the age gap between her and Farmer Jason Tessmann.
After Miranda Chopping was unfortunately chopped from the comp by Farmer Zac Kuiper, viewers began to label Farmer Jason’s Logan as this season’s villain, mostly because of her upfront and confident attitude in her quest for love.
But alongside fan commentary of her attitude, some also took aim at her 10-year age gap with the dairy farmer. On the show, Farmer Jason, 37, also voiced his concerns about his age difference with Logan, 28.
Just last night, at the annual black-tie dinner, Jason touched on his concerns about Logan’s maturity and their age gap after she made a comment about sitting at home and being a “boring person”.
“I don’t, personally, think [Logan] is boring,” Jason began.
“That just comes back to maybe the maturity-wise and the age gap; she’s like nearly 10 years younger than me.”

Farmer Wants A Wife Logan Firth responds to complaints about her age gap with Farmer Jason
Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV, Logan clapped back at haters, stating that he doesn’t think their age gap is a big deal.
“I just don’t think it’s a big deal, and I don’t know why people care so much,” she said.
“Honestly, like it’s not like if they don’t wouldn’t do it, don’t do it. I don’t know why you have to judge other people.”
Logan also noted that she’s seen a lot of people labelling her “immature”, which she claims is a major misconception.
“I think a lot of the people on the show aren’t so straight up, and when someone is, I think it does come across as like — people think it’s mean or rude or whatever they think,” Logan said of viewers calling her the villain of the season.
At the time of writing, Farmer Jason has not made his final decision, so we’ll have to wait and see how this country hunk of spunk really thinks about Logan.
Farmer Wants A Wife’s finale week kicks off tonight at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
