Arsenal and Manchester City are the ones to watch for Fantasy Premier League gameweek 23.
A double gameweek for the Premier League title rivals sees them face off after hosting Brentford and Aston Villa, respectively.
With Kevin De Bruyne becoming an FPL no-show in recent games, many managers will be looking at how best to maximise their budget. Here are our top tips...
Buakyo Saka - Arsenal - £8.3m
Multiple goals against both Manchester United and Liverpool underline Saka’s credentials as a big-game player and Rico Lewis could struggle to contain the rapid winger in the midweek match-up. Saka has blanked in only three of his last nine games.
Jack Grealish - Man City - £6.8m
Often teased for his lack of ‘numbers’, Grealish has been a rare shining light for City of late and has a puny 1.5 per-cent ownership. Worth a punt as a likely player to start against both old club Villa and then Arsenal.
Oleksandr Zinchenko - Arsenal - £5.1m
Without an assist since gameweek one, the Ukrainian is a bit of a differential option this week with few expecting him to rack up serious points. But, his style of cutting into the midfield could catch Riyad Mahrez napping against City and cause Brentford issues. There is also that tasty against-his-old-club narrative...
Erling Haaland - Man City - £12.2m
Fun fact: Haaland’s ownership actually fell just before GW21 - the first time it ever has in FPL - and he responded by netting a hat-trick. Moral of the story is do not count him out and you need a really good reason not to captain him for any double gameweek.
