The penultimate gameweek of Fantasy Premier League is upon us.
A double gameweek 37 sees Manchester United, Man City, Chelsea and Brighton all play twice in what is a serious chance for FPL managers to pick up some season-changing points hauls.
This week’s deadline come at 11am BST on Saturday and here are our top tips...
Trent Alexander-Arnold - Liverpool - £7.7m
Liverpool fans may fondly remember the days of Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson being absolute FPL must-haves. Those days have slightly returned with the right-back picking up some sort of return in his last EIGHT games. That’s mega. Aston Villa at Anfield and a finished Southampton side are their final opponents, so more should be on the way.
Conor Gallagher - Chelsea - £5.6m
Chelsea (remember them?) are also in double gameweek action and, despite two tough games, are certainly a differential option this week. Raheem Sterling is too expensive at £9.7m so Gallagher is worth a punt, with two goals and five bonus points in five games.
Anthony Martial - Man Utd - £6.3m
This is the stage of the season where a well-timed, unexpected transfer can rocket you up your mini-league. Martial may be the man to do that with a goal last time out against Wolves ahead of United’s double gameweek versus Bournemouth and Chelsea. Marcus Rashford looks like he’ll be fit, so back him too (and, let’s face it, you’ll captain Erling Haaland) but Martial is a sneaky option for a good haul in GW37.
Julio Enciso - Brighton - £4.6m
Okay, I admit it. I’m one of the very few geniuses who took out Pervis Estupinan for GW36. Maybe public confession will make me feel better. Probably not. But, maybe you can learn from my mistake and actually back Brighton for their double GW37. Estupinan is a good shout (but what do I know?) while Enciso is a budget differential for your attack after three goals in recent weeks.
