Fantasy Premier League tips: Who to buy and captain ahead of FPL gameweek 33 deadline

A full set of midweek fixtures gives Fantasy Premier League managers another chance to make up ground in the final few weeks of the season.

The FPL deadline is at 6pm BST on Tuesday night, with a key relegation clash between Leeds and Leicester among the matches to look forward to tomorrow.

It’s then Manchester City and Arsenal taking centre stage on Wednesday night in what looks set to be a Premier League title decider, with Tottenham vs Manchester United to come on Thursday as Spurs look to respond to their Newcastle mauling.

Here are our latest FPL tips for GW33...

Solly March - Brighton - £5.2m

It’s Kaoru Mitoma taking a lot of the plaudits when it comes to Brighton’s attack, but it could be worth bringing in his team-mate March for the trip to Nottingham Forest. The winger has a goal and three assists in his last five Premier League games, including trips to Chelsea and Tottenham, and he now travels to a Forest side that haven’t kept a clean sheet in nearly three months.

James Maddison - Leicester - £8.1m

He missed Leicester’s win over Wolves last time out, but Maddison is expected to recover from illness and start against Leeds on Tuesday. Like most of his team-mates the midfielder hasn’t been in the best of form recently, but with a new manager seemingly lifting the mood and the opponents a Leeds side that have conceded 18 goals in five matches this month, Maddison could swiftly be back to his best.

Jack Grealish - Man City - £7.2m

Yes, we have resisted the urge to just go with Erling Haaland. Arsenal are of course tough opposition on paper but the Gunners have struggled at the back without William Saliba, with West Ham scoring twice and Southampton finding the net three times. Grealish has been in sensational form recently, and can take full advantage of that weakened right side of Arsenal’s defence.

Marcus Rashford - Man United - £7.1m

Rashford has been exiting FPL teams at a rapid rate in recent weeks, after picking up an injury before United then blanked last gameweek as a result of their FA Cup involvement. However, the forward is now fit and available and comes up against a Tottenham side that were truly awful last time out. Spurs have conceded nine goals in their last two games - Rashford is a strong captaincy option.
