Fantasy Premier League tips: Transfer and captain options for FPL gameweek 11 deadline today

A Friday night kick-off means gameweek 11 begins today in Fantasy Premier League.

Managers have until 6.30pm BST to make their changes ahead of Brentford facing Brighton, which starts a fascinating weekend of Premier League action.

FPL managers may want to pay attention to the upcoming midweek gameweek too, as Manchester City and Arsenal sit one out due to their postponement. City take on Liverpool this Sunday at Anfield in the only match-up between the ‘Big Six’.

Harry Kane - Tottenham - £11.4m

Minor threats of being rested from the line-up persist for Kane but a tally of eight goals and two assists has been built in the shadow of Erling Haaland. Everton at home on Saturday makes him the better pick for captaining your FPL team, if you have both. Kane has 14 goals in 15 matches versus the Toffees, his second-best record against any opponent.

Patson Daka - Leicester - £5.7m

With three goals in his last four goals, the striker is leading the Foxes line well even if results have not matched his efforts. Flying under the radar, he will be a big threat at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday - a team Leicester have beaten four times and drawn against twice in their last six meetings.

Andreas Pereira - Fulham - £4.6m

Aleksandar Mitrovic’s absence from the Cottagers line-up has suggested the goals will dry up for Marco Silva’s team but Pereira remains a goal and assist threat, scoring at West Ham last week, and is a bargain price. He does have a high ownership (almost 25 per cent), though.

Pascal Gross - Brighton - £5.9m

Many FPL teams already have a Brighton player or two after a strong start under Graham Potter and it would be foolish to discard them now Roberto De Zerbi is in charge. A trip to Brentford, who possess one of the worst defensive records in the league, is a good chance for attacking midfielder Gross to keep up his fine form which includes three goals, two assists and a trio of bonus points.

Diego Costa - Wolves - £5.5m

If you really want to push the differential boat out, only 0.6 per cent of managers own Costa ahead of him likely leading the line at home to leaky Nottingham Forest. Go on. I dare you.
