Fantasy football waiver wire: Should you keep or cut these 5 players ahead of Week 14?

You’re waking up on Tuesday reading all that you can about the players that you should be picking up off the waiver wire as you prepare for Week 14 of fantasy football in 2022.

But it’s likely there aren’t as many things written about who you should be dropping to grab those players. That’s what this weekly column — keep ’em or dump ’em! — will hopefully answer for you: Some help in the debate over who you should keep or drop in order to improve your team.

It’s an intriguing waiver wire week especially with the fantasy playoffs looming, so let’s dive in to help you with who to keep or drop:

1
RB Kenyan Drake, Baltimore Ravens

Gus Edwards is RB1, JK Dobbins might be back soon … so, yeah.

VERDICT: Drop him

2
RB James Robinson, New York Jets

I’d say you should hang on to backup RBs this late in the season, but on Robinson? He’s probably third or fourth on the depth chart now when Michael Carter comes back.

VERDICT: Drop him

3
WR Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals

He did see five targets with Ja’Marr Chase back, but there are too many mouths to feed in the Bengals’ offense for him to make a huge impact unless there’s an injury.

VERDICT: Drop him

4
RB Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams

He had just three carries against the Seahawks and Cam Akers (sigh) scored twice. But maybe the coaching staff wants to see what it has in this kid.

VERDICT: Keep him

5
WR Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers

I’m inclined to let him go, given that the Nos. 1 and 2 in this offense are Christian Watson and Allen Lazard. When he comes back, it might be really crowded for him

VERDICT: Drop him
