Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season is over, after a pair of games to go on Monday night.
And if you play fantasy football, you’re already planning ahead with waivers after a busy slate of games.
That’s what we’re here for, a roundup of some of the players you could be targeting ahead of Week 4.
Some of the names below might be taken already, but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let’s run through them, in no particular order, and we’ve update this after the two games remaining on Monday Night Football were played.
1
RB De'von Achane, Miami Dolphins
The preseason sleeper darling EXPLODED in his second game with 18 carries, 204 yards on the ground, 30 more through the air and two scores … and that was WITH Raheem Mostert also blowing up in the 70-point barrage against the Broncos.
He’s a must-roster player, and should be your first priority, given the Dolphins’ offense and the fact that Mostert has an injury history.
2
QB C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
He’s been GOOD in his first three games, in a Texans offense that’s throwing the ball a ton. No INTs so far and a sprinkling of rushing yards. I think he’ll get even better as he goes forward.
3
RB Roschon Johnson, Chicago Bears
The Bears’ offense is a mess, but it feels like he’s the better back, with Khalil Herbert struggling. Chicago has to get better … right?
4
WR Tank Dell, Houston Texans
It might be too late. The rookie was a popular add last week, and now he’s gone off for 145 yards and a score in Week 3.
5
WR Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers
Mike Williams is out for the year with torn ACL, which means the first-round pick could actually see some more action, even though he’s behind Keenan Allen an Joshua Palmer in the offense. Worth a stash!
6
WR D.J. Chark Jr., Carolina Panthers
He was targeted 11 times in Week 3 and scored once. Not bad!
7
TE Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers
A season-high eight targets has our attention, although Christian Watson returning from injury could change that. Still, if you need a tight end, here you go.
8
WR Marvin Mims Jr., Denver Broncos
The Broncos stink, but at least they’re throwing the ball and Mims is making big plays with it.
