Here's your 2022 preview of the Las Vegas Raiders, the third of 32 team profiles during draft season:
— 2022 Fantasy MVP: Davante Adams, WR
Adams (ADP: 11) played seven games with Brett Hundley under center in 2017 while Aaron Rodgers was sidelined with a broken collarbone. His averages during that stretch extrapolated over a full season: 98 receptions (151 targets), 1,154 yards and 11 touchdowns. This is probably his floor.
— 2022 Fantasy Sleeper: Derek Carr, QB
If you're waiting to draft a quarterback, Carr (ADP: 106) is a solid mid-round target. He completed 428 passes for 4,804 yards last season, but only had 23 touchdown passes. There's some potential positive touchdown regression coming his way, not to mention he lured his BFF (Adams) to Vegas. He doesn't need much to boost his production into top-10 territory at the position and he's currently being selected as a QB14.
— 2022 Fantasy Bust: Josh Jacobs, RB
This is likely Jacobs' (ADP: 41) last season with Las Vegas after the Raiders declined his fifth-year option. The team also added four players at the position this offseason — plus Kenyon Drake remains — which tells me this is headed towards a very Patriots-like backfield by committee. Jacobs is capable of producing RB2 value, but he needs consistent volume to do so and that seems unlikely with the current roster as is.
— 2022 Fantasy Rookie to watch: Zamir White, RB
White (ADP: 186) is a former five-star prospect who was impacted by injuries at Georgia. He's an early-down grinder with some goal-line upside, who would make a solid late-round flier and potential handcuff to Jacobs.
