— 2022 Fantasy MVP: Travis Kelce, TE
The excellence of Kelce (ADP: 14) and the state of the tight end position in general remains unchanged — there's a big drop-off after the top five. His career-low numbers would make him a solid early-round selection: 67 receptions (2014), 867 yards (2014) and four touchdowns (2016). It's a fair assumption that he may challenge his career-high in targets (150 in 2018) with Tyreek Hill in Miami and a bunch of new faces in the wide receiver room.
— 2022 Fantasy Sleeper: Mecole Hardman, WR
I'm choosing Hardman (ADP: 151) here despite his new teammates JuJu Smith-Schuster (ADP: 76), Skyy Moore (ADP: 132) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ADP: 139) all being selected earlier than him on average. The reason is simple: familiarity. Out of this group, Hardman is closest to Hill in skill set and has three seasons in this offense, while improving in targets, receptions and yards each year. He's only 24 years old.
— 2022 Fantasy Bust: Patrick Mahomes, QB
This has nothing to do with Mahomes (ADP: 33) as a player. His Per 17 Game averages as a starter is 5,129 yards and 41 touchdown passes against only 10 interceptions. No, this is my annual reminder about team building. For most leagues, the second or third round is too early to draft a quarterback.
— 2022 Fantasy Rookie to watch: Skyy Moore, WR
It'll be hard to keep Moore (ADP: 132) off the field. The 54th overall pick is fast, shifty and dynamic when he has the ball, but it's a big leap from the Mid-American conference to the NFL.
