— 2022 Fantasy MVP: Josh Allen, QB
You have to pay a premium for Allen (ADP: 22) — he won't be available after the third round in most drafts — but you're getting a fantasy dynamo who has finished as the QB6, QB1 and QB1 the last three seasons. His Per 17 Games averages in his back-to-back top finishes: 4,611 passing yards, and 38 touchdown passes against only 13 interceptions with 610 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns.
— 2022 Fantasy Sleeper: Isaiah McKenzie, WR
McKenzie (ADP: 163) offers the best value of any player on this offense. He's benefitted from his chemistry with Allen and Jamison Crowder missing time during training camp to likely earn the starting slot gig. Cole Beasley had 100-plus targets in each of the past three seasons at that position.
— 2022 Fantasy Bust: Dawson Knox, TE
It's hard to pick a bust for this team. I considered Gabriel Davis (ADP: 61) because the runaway hype-train has caused his draft stock to soar, maybe a bit too far, but I'm just as excited as anyone for the opportunity he's going to get this season, sans the inflation. Knox (ADP: 98) will have a better chance to repeat last year's numbers after OJ Howard was released, but if the likely negative touchdown regression hits him — his nine TDs tied him with Hunter Henry and Mark Andrews for second-most among tight ends — the athletic playmaker will likely not return value of a top-100 pick.
— 2022 Fantasy Rookie to watch: James Cook, RB
Buffalo was left at the altar in free agency when J.D. McKissic jilted them and returned to Washington at the last possible moment. The Bills responded by drafting a more explosive version in the second round. Cook (ADP: 108) lacks ideal size and was a part-time starter for Georgia, but Dalvin's brother is a modern pass-catching back — one drop in 74 career targets — who is a home-run hitter once he gets into the open field.
