Knowledge is power and the greatest asset you can acquire in order to compete for a fantasy football championship.
Here's your 2022 preview of the Atlanta Falcons, the 13th of 32 team profiles during draft season:
— 2022 Fantasy MVP: Kyle Pitts, TE
Pitts (ADP: 32) lived up to the hype by becoming the first rookie tight end to surpass a thousand yards in decades. It's probable he's targeted like a WR1 in this offense and he's facing some serious positive touchdown regression after only scoring one in 2021.
— 2022 Fantasy Sleeper: Marcus Mariota, QB
There's no reason Mariota (ADP: 228) can't do the same things Ryan Tannehill did in Arthur Smith's offense. Tannehill was fantasy's QB7 in 2020, Smith's last season as Tennessee's offensive coordinator before he became head coach in Atlanta. More importantly, Tannehill ran for 11 touchdowns in his two years with Smith. The former No. 2 overall pick may not produce top-10 value at the position this year, but I believe he'll easily surpass QB32 (where he's being drafted currently).
— 2022 Fantasy Bust: Cordarrelle Patterson, RB
I still expect Patterson (ADP: 77) to maintain flex value every week, with RB2 upside, but I believe there's big bust energy here. A depleted roster factored significantly into his special season — 1,166 total yards, 52 receptions and 11 total touchdowns — and I doubt he surpasses double-digit touchdowns again.
— 2022 Fantasy Rookie to watch: Drake London, WR
London (ADP: 96) has WR2 upside and he's currently being drafted as a WR4 — usually the first wide receiver drafted is overvalued in fantasy.
