'Fans were incredible' - Kyle Dempsey's debut among Bolton dressing room view of Morecambe draw

Bolton Wanderers came from behind to score a dramatic late equaliser against Morecambe and extend their unbeaten run to five games.

The League One clash at the Mazuma Stadium was suspended for 10 minutes by referee Ross Joyce following an alleged racist comment directed towards the Wanderers bench from the crowd and the players were called off the pitch as full-time approached.

Cole Stockton had previously put the hosts ahead after having his penalty saved by James Trafford as Bolton captain Santos was shown a straight red card for an alleged handball in the box.

But Wanderers rallied and during 10 extra minutes of play, substitute Amadou Bakayoko struck to earn Bolton a share of the spoils.

Members of the Wanderers squad took to Twitter after the encounter to give their view on the late comeback.

Making his debut for Bolton after his deadline day move from Gillingham, Kyle Dempsey wrote: "Proud to make my debut for Bolton today, a real character shown within the team to come back out and get the point.

"Fans were incredible, can’t wait to play in front of yous every week."

Liam Gordon wrote: "My Team."

Goalscorer Bakayoko wrote: "Unbelievable support start to finish Happy we could repay you with a point to take away we go again!!"

Wing-back Marlon Fossey meanwhile posted the moment after the dramatic late goal went in and the celebration with team mate Bakayoko.
