It’s already been a hot, hot summer. And with temperatures set to reach over 30C again this week, it doesn’t look like it’s going to cool down any time soon. Thankfully, there are plenty of appliances out there that can help cool down your home during these prolonged heatwaves.
While drawing the curtains shut and opening the windows at night can help, an electric fan and a portable air conditioner are more effective at bringing the temperature down – if you can find one, that is. Earlier this month, Currys’ chief executive Alex Baldock warned that both appliances had been flying off shelves nationwide, making it tricky to find either cooling gadget.
